This is a Victorian Style conservatory with tinted glass roof.  A modification was required to the existing roof, creating a false dormer connecting to the conservatory roof.  Existing tiles had to be reused as this type of tile is no longer manufactured.

The connecting doors from the bungalow are purpose made glazed timber concertina doors.  Above this entrance, in the ceiling, are inset spotlights.  Further lighting is provided by lights incorporated in the remote controlled ceiling fan fitment.

The whole bungalow is wheel-chair friendly, and the conservatory, with its exit to the swimming pool area, had to reflect this requirement.  The floor is tiled, with an under-floor heating installation, and the tiled finish is continued onto the internal window sills, giving a durable surface for pot-plants, ornaments and the like.

The conservatory had to blend with the style of the bungalow and garden, and our customers feel that this has been achieved.
