Windows - Redruth |

We were asked to replace the old wooden sliding sash windows in the front of an attractive typically Cornish granite terraced cottage, economically but tastefully, to reproduce as far as possible the look of the original windows. The design we used featured a top hung opening casement in the top half, with a fixed pane in the bottom. The bottom pane needed to be in toughened glass in order to comply with Building regulations. The crowning feature of these windows is the use of Georgian style glazing bars applied to the external surfaces of the sealed units. This produces a very authentic look, while taking full advantage of all the benefits of high quality PVCu.
