Choice of styles - Whether your requirements are for easy access to your garden and other recreational areas or to enclose a porch, there's a style to suit. Midrails can be fitted, with or without letter plates. Solid infil panels, clear of textured obscured glass, Georgian bars, square of diamond leading...all are available in the Sandringham patio door range.
Our Stable Door has an appealing cottage style appearance with angled faces to dispel dirt and water.
One of the door's many features is the versatility of its high security hook lock. The top leaf can be opened independently to provide additional ventilation as required, with the bottom unit securely locked to contain children and pets.
Due to a cleverly designed snapper catch that holds the two sections together, the door can also be used as a conventional single leaf, without the need for a complicated retaining mechanism. To permit a wide variety of applications, the stable door comes with a choice of three thresholds and in white, woodgrain, woodgrain on white, light oak and light oak on white finishes.
Our French doors (double doors) are fitted with a full height locking device and keep with two hooks and two rollercams, tested to high industry standards.
Extra security can be added with hinge protectors and top/bottom shootbolts.
Shootbolts are fitted as standard to all double doors.
Most timber products are made from African Iroko hardwood, however we can manufacture from any hardwood or softwood specified, preferably from renewable sources which are kiln dried to minimise warpage and shrinkage.
A choice of microporous finishes are available in a variety of coloured stains or a white finish where required. Microporous coatings are used on the frames to ensure proper protection of the timber while allowing it to 'breathe', two coats are applied in the workshops prior to going to site followed by a further finishing coat after the installation.
Standard specification includes mushroom cam espagnolette locking with night vent facility and stainless steel coated friction hinges, the double glazed units are 28mm thick to enhance heat insulation and reduce noise pollution, toughened glass is used where required to BS6262. Low 'E' glass is available to comply with Document L legislation if requested or to comply with Local Authority building regulations.
The glass units are glazed into their frames using a 'dry glazing system' to comply with Glass & Glazing Federation requirements, this method of glazing incorporates a drainage system which safeguards against the failure of glass units.
Slim yet secure and weather resistant, each door is made from aluminium extrusion with a double seal for draught reduction. A thermal break construction also ensures that heat loss is kept to a minimum.
Either direct fix frames or frames set in timber or PVCu are available, with a bright fade resistant polyester finish of either white or brown, or a traditional silver anodised finish.
For security a three point locking system is fitted as standard, to help keep intruders at bay.
The Evolution door range has literally evolved through years of research and development to provide today's discerning customer with the ultimate in door technology.
