All windows with casement openings feature the very distinctive, high security key-locking handle.

At the heart of any window is its security system.  Every opening casement is fitted with two high security shoot bolts and mushroom-headed locking mechanisms, operated from the high security key-locking handles.

The shoot bolts and mushroom-headed cams are made from high quality stainless steel and are tested to high industry standards.

Optional anti-theft devices can be fitted to the opening casements for extra security.

Distinctive beads are available for windows and doors.  You can choose either scotia or bevelled beads, both being available in all  the different finishes.

All opening casements are fitted with two high quality, stainless steel friction stays.

As an alternative to the classic white window a choice of finish is available.

One option is a stunning woodgrain-textured mahogany finish on the exterior with the standard white on the inside.  Or you can choose mahogany woodgrain inside and out on a dark brown, matching profile.

A light oak woodgrain finish is also available inside and out on a caramel profile, or with white on the inside.

The Vale Mk2 vertical sliding window has been developed as an authentic replacement for the original sliding sash window.

Unlike its predecessor, this modern equivalent comes in impact resistant PVCu, reducing maintenance to the minimum and providing a product with such eye-catching appeal that it will grace any property.  These qualities are supplemented by rigid reinforced construction, and the additional benefits of improved draught proofing, heat retention and sound proofing.

Closer inspection reveals all the attention to detail necessary to preserve the character and appearance of the original concept.

Security has been enhanced through the combination of internal glazing and the claw interlock between the two sliding sections.  The actual window locks and grip handles fitted to both sashes are matched in white or gold finish.

One of the most pleasing features is undoubtedly the easy action of the window itself.  This is accomplished by the careful selection of the correctly tensioned spiral balances.

The mechanism also allows either sash to be retained in an inward tilt position to enable the outside surface to be cleaned.

Permanent secure ventilation can be achieved through an optional fitment into the head of the outer frame if required.

The range is available double-glazed to conform to the latest Building Regulation requirements.

Most timber products are made from African Iroko hardwood, however we can manufacture from any hardwood or softwood specified, preferably from renewable sources which are kiln dried to minimise warpage and shrinkage.

A choice of microporous finishes are available in a variety of coloured stains or a white finish where required.  Microporous coatings are used on the frames to ensure proper protection of the timber while allowing it to 'breath', two coats are applied in the workshops prior to going to site followed by a further finishing coat after the installation.

Standard specification includes mushroom cam espagnolette locking with night vent facility and stainless steel coated friction hinges, the double glazed units are 28mm thick to enhance heat insulation and reduce noise pollution, toughened glass is used where required to BS6262.  Low 'E' glass is available to comply with Document L legislation if requested or to comply with Local Authority building regulations.

The glass units are glazed into their frames using a 'dry glazing system' to comply with Glass & Glazing Federation requirements, this method of glazing incorporates a drainage system which safeguards against the failure of glass units.

Carefully engineered from precision aluminium extrusion, the all-important look of the Chelsea window has been kept stylishly slim, without compromising its inherent strength.

The hardwearing polyester paint finish, either in rich white or brown, or traditional silver anodised, will provide lasting appeal.

For safety and security, we offer features such as toughened or laminated glass, internal beading and cockspur or shootbolt locking mechanisms.  For further distinction you can choose from Georgian bar, stained, clear, obscured or textured glass, as well as diamond and square leading.
